It’s Official: I’m Becoming My Mother

July 31, 2013 by emily 12 Comments

Ever since I was a little girl anytime I was lost in a store all I’d have to do listen for the jingling of my mom’s armful of bracelets and I could find her in no time. Sort of like a GPS, but much more glamorous. As an added bonus, the woman uses her hands to talk more than anyone I’ve ever met, so needless to say it was never very hard to find her.

Well, flash forward twenty years later and I have officially become my mom because there is nothing I love more than an arm full of bracelets. Whether they’re bangles or beaded, I need them on my arm at all times! So, when we were creating my new jewelry line, it was important to me that we had lots of bracelets that I could add to my collection!

Here’s one of my favorite combinations.. I love mixing the Scarlett, Susie, Ava and Bethany bracelets together on one arm and the Morgan cuff on the other. Each piece looks so special and they fit together perfectly! Not to mention, they make it much easier for Ricki to find me at Target!

What’s your favorite way to mix and match bracelets?

Here are some other great crochet shorts:

Ha! Love this post- and I can totally relate. My mom has always been jewelry/bracelet obsessed and I always was too 🙂 Love your line!

I love to layer bracelets as well. I usually wear my Pandora charm bracelet and add another silver bracelet with it or my watch! 🙂

I love the look of bracelets and that’s so funny because I am becoming my mother too.. But.. it’s not so bad. She’s my idol anyway so I’m pretty proud to take on her habits as well 🙂

Its funny when you start to realize that you act like your parents or you do things like they do. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved the clunking sound of bracelets on someones wrist when they talk and I still like it today…lol. I love jewelry and when women have they hands and wrists accessorized with a lot of it. 🙂

I always have a hard time wearing more than one bracelet, except with one set I got from White House/Black Market a million years ago. And when I wear them, you can hear me coming! 😉
