What I Wore: Front Row Charlotte Edition

September 23, 2013 by emily 7 Comments

If you know me, you know I’m a homebody in every sense of the word and I’m not ashamed to admit it. But every once in a while there’s an event in Charlotte that forces me to go out of my house past 8pm and Front Row Charlotte is definitely one of them. It’s a fashion show, created by my sweet friend Erica Hanks,  with some of Charlotte top boutiques and at the end you can buy all of the pieces at each stores pop up shop. Great idea, huh? I got one of my favorite outfits ever at the KK Bloom pop up after the spring show!

The last event was one for the men (and single women all around Charlotte), featuring clothes from Abbeydale, Nordstrom, Taylor Richards & Conger, Blank Canvas, and Silverfly. And let’s be real ladies, we all have one man in our lives that could use some help in the fashion department, right?

I wore a top from one of my favorite designers, Hunter Bell (for all my fellow reality show junkies, you may remember her as the winner of Fashion Star!) and a skirt from Clover Canyon. For accessories, I added the Virginia necklace and my signature stack of bracelets!  The Virginia is one of my favorites because it can be dressed up or down, depending on the outfit and gives your look a little bit of an edge.

What are some of your favorite events in your city?

    Emily you look incredible!
After being newly single (scary!) I have my very first ‘first date’ in the longest time and I wanna wear something just like that outfit! I’m hoping it’s not too dressy for a first date but at least he’ll know the kinda girl I am (loves my hair, make-up, jewelry, and clothes!) right off the bat 🙂
Love your post emily you’re my absolute role model!

The skirt link goes to Jimmy Choo and the top is definitely not the same. Yours doesn’t have the bling sleeves and it’s short in the front and long on sides, the one in the link is opposite. Cna you please update the links?

    Thanks Emily!
